Product Details
Stunning vintage floor or table lamp model 620, ''Pipistrello'', ca. 1980. Rare as a vintage piece (they are also still available new).
Designed around 1965 by Italian female artist Gae Aulenti who for this particular design took her inspiration from the appearance of a bat's shape and wings. It's a bold design, a real eye catcher, especially with the (4) lights on. It has a telescoopic stem made of stainless steel. The height can be adjusted (height can be set anywhere from 66 to 85 cm) and the lamp can be used as a table or floor lamp. Condition is really good regarding its age. There are a couple of superficial little dents in the black base and slight scratches, only visible in close up. The lamp comes with the E14 bulbs and European plug.
