Product Details
A Dutch modernist The Hague School table , dating to the 1920s. The design balances architectural clarity with warm material presence, a hallmark of the movement’s restrained Art Deco language.
It features a solid oak base with vertical uprights. Each upright flows into a sculpted foot carved from the same block of oak, subtly lifting the piece from the floor and reinforcing its grounded yet refined character. The circular top is veneered. The secondary lower solid oak shelf adds depth and stability without disturbing the clean geometry.
Perfectly proportioned and versatlile as a plant table, or pedestal for a statue or sculpture, it works equally well as a functional object or a stand-alone design statement.
These small-scale modernist tables are increasingly sought after for their versatility and character. Ideal as an accent piece in a curated interior, bringing authentic early Dutch modernism into a contemporary space.
