Product Details
A vintage (1980s) decorative side chair in style of (and clearly an ode to) Gerrit Rietveld 's 1919 'De Ligt' dining room chair. Difference being the lack of armrests. This hand-crafted chair was made by a local Amsterdam professional furniture maker, and it shows. It is very well made, measured to the millimeter. It is in very good condition. The wood is laqcuered in bright red and off-white accents.
The chair has nice proportions and is very suitable as a styling object. For instance one could use it as a bedside table, as a side chair or as a decorative eye catcher on its own. Also great to use as a display for books. It has a very artistic appearance and would be an asset to a room with other modernist or ''De Stijl'' objects and furniture.
