Product Details
A solid macassar ebony wooden sculpture of an owl. Small in size but with a great presence. It is clear to see that this owl was made by a skilled artist with an eye for aesthetics, proportions and the ability to bring a sculpture to life. With the streamlined front side, the cut out feet and legs and overall beautiful curves it's a striking design to simply fall in love with. Also note its pointed ears!
The design is reminiscent of pieces by the Dutch sculptor Bernard Richters (1888 - 1966).
The piece is in very good condition, with minor signs of age and minor scratches.
