Product Details
A Dutch Art Deco small elegant occasional table or side table, around 1925, in stained walnut, ebony and a pinkish marble top. It is a very well made sturdy little table with marvellous details. It has little wear for its age and is unrestored. Quite a heavy piece for its modest size.
The style is very recognizable as Amsterdam School and the design is attributed to Max Coini (Amsterdam). Max Coini (1878 - 1934) was an interior designer and manufactured furniture in Amsterdam School style until 1934. The style is very similar with the use of contrasting colours of wood, subtle decorations, scuptural elements and the use of marble.
Coini is also known for designing stage decoration for the Dutch central theater company.
