A Dutch Art Deco nicely sized elegant occasional table or side table in oak with a sculpural design and black ball shaped. slighly conical feet. Very suitable as an accent piece in eclectic or more classic interiors. It is a very well made and sturdy with very little wear for its age (made in the 1920s). The style is recognizable as Amsterdam School with sculptural, organic shape in the design.

''Amsterdamse School'' is a collective name for the exuberant, imaginative and innovative design style from the period 1910-1930 by a diverse group of Dutch architects, interior designers and sculptors. Amsterdam School architects designed a lot of exteriors and interiors in Amsterdam, but the style spreaded further all around the Netherlands. The Hague has its own variant, called The Hague School.
