A stunning table lamp by Winkelman & Van der Bijl, crafted in the 1920s from bronze and copper, a rare find with finely executed details -. Background:

Founded around 1910, Winkelman & Van der Bijl was a Dutch workshop renowned for its ornamental metalwork. By 1915, the firm was producing exterior lamps and architectural ornaments for Amsterdam's iconic Scheepvaarthuis. They frequently collaborated with sculptor Hildo Krop and architects Piet Kramer and Adriaan Moen on landmark Amsterdam School projects—including public bridges, railings, and the famed Gerzon fashion house on Spuistraat.
